Experimental tests of discrete symmetries in the decays K+- → π+π-e+-ν/sub e/

Description
Tests of the discrete symmetries P, C, CP, and T are obtained through comparison of the rare decays K±→π⁺π⁻e±νₑ (Kₑ₄ decays). An important outgrowth of the experiment is a direct measurement of the low-energy pion-pion relative scattering phase, δ₀-δ₁.
