State of the art of methods of probabilistic assessment of human reliability. Study report

Description

This document reports a literature review on the way human reliability is taken into account in the assessment of major risks of accident. In its first part, it comprises a brief report of stakes related to the integration of human reliability in the analysis of industrial risks, provides an overview of concepts used in the field of human reliability, and proposes a comparative view of the different methods through an analysis grid. The second part proposes a detailed description of each of the considered methods with their background, their input and output data, and their validation. An example chosen in the industrial sector (oven restart) is used to illustrate the application of each method.
