Description
Sodium salt of boron and zinc anionic polynuclear gluconate complex has been synthesized. The structure of the complex based on the results of physicochemical investigations: (IR-spectra, electroconductivity measurements, thermal decomposition, cryoscopy and titration according to Fischer) can be represented by the formula Na4[Zn[OOCC5H9O5B(OH)2]2 x [HOOCC5H9O5B(OH)2]2]. The zinc atom is coordinated with the four gluconatodihydroxoborate residues two of which contain the free carboxylic groups
