Description
A possibility was studied for increasing wear resistance of Kh20N80 nichrome alloy by means of its alloying with boron and aluminium simultaneously. Thermodiffusional saturation of the initial powder is shown to increase considerably wear resistance of the materials, sprayed by detonation method. Coatings and substrates mutually influence strength and plastic properties of the material during bending test. The newly developed material on the alloyed nichrome base is competitive as compared to the best wear-resistant material of C-Co type
