On the choice of the T-10M tokamak electromagnetic system
Description
A preliminary analysis of variants of performing the T-10M tokamak poloidal magnetic field system is carried out. Variants with internal external and combined control winding position relative to a toroidal field winding are numerically simulated. The following device main parameters are accepted in the calculation: large radius of the plasma column R=2.4 m, small-0.7 m, plasma current I /-sub(max)=1.4 mA The twodimensional axisymmetric model of the magnetic system is considered. The comparison of the variants with internal and external control winding position shows that thtse curren in control winding turns differ slightly but differ essentially flux-linkages with them as well as voltage induced in the turns The s/ disturbing moment, acting on the toroidal field winding in case of external control winding position has increased two fold. Considerably (approximately 3.5times) poloidal fields in the toroidal field winding zone have increased. The analysis of the variants considered is of a preliminary character, it allows to reveal some regularities which are important for the choice of the final variant
