Intervention levels for public protection - present state and trends
Description
The modern tendencies in development of valid international intervention levels for protection of the public in the event of accidental release of radioactive materials to the environment are considered. The intervention approach completed at the international level is compared with the principles, criteria and urgent protection measures applied in Bulgaria including sheltering, evacuation, administration of stable iodine, temporary relocation, permanent resettlement, control of foodstuffs and drinking water.
