Calculation of characteristics of external human being irradiated by 137Cs distributed in the ground

Description
Paper dwells upon the Monte Carlo method base calculated evaluations of the effect of some characteristics of the external irradiation of a human being in case of his occurrence in a site the soil of which is 137Cs contaminated one. One has evaluated the spectrum and the angular distribution of γ-quanta in the air as well as the effect of a human being height above the soil surface, the contaminated surface area, the depth of soil contamination, the snow blanket, the compartment walls. One studied the effect of variation of some calculation parameters on the results. The density of phantom material and of soil is shown to affect the results the most

Представлены рассчитанные методом Монте-Карло оценки влияния некоторых характеристик внешнего облучения человека, который находится на поверхности почвы, загрязненной 137Cs. Оценены спектр и угловое распределение γ-квантов в воздухе, а также влияние высоты расположения человека над поверхностью почвы, площади загрязненной поверхности, глубины расположения загрязнения в почве, снежного покрова и стен помещения. Рассмотрено влияние изменения некоторых параметров расчета на результаты. Показано, что наиболее сильно влияют на результаты расчетов плотность материала фантома и почвыAdditional details
