Liquid argon TPC neutrino detector

  • 1. High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK), Tsukuba, Ibaraki (Japan)

Description

A large size liquid argon time projection chamber (LAr TPC) is a candidate of neutrino far detector at future neutrino oscillation experiment. Toward realization of a large size LAr TPC detector, various researches and developments are in progress in the world. At KEK, we are developing LAr TPC detector focusing on necessary fundamental technologies, such as charge readout system, high voltage, LAr purification and so on. In this presentation, we report a present status of development of the readout system. (author)
