Evidence for a strongly interacting particle of mass greater than 40 GeV

  • 1. Leeds Univ. (UK)

Description

The hadron energy spectrum recently published by Baruch, Brooke and Kellermann and other spectra measured at sea level and at high altitudes under absorbers can be more easily understood if one assumes the existence of a new type of particle of mass greater than 40 GeV.
