Basic static calculation of the SG 3 steam line outside the hermetic zone at the Mochovce-1 reactor unit
Description
The title calculation was performed for the segment from the penetration to the main steam header to the quick-acting valve of turbine 1. Internal overpressure, own weight (including insulation), and thermal dilatation were considered as the stressing factors. The stresses were found not to exceed the permissible limits in the (σ)1, (σ)2 and (σ)RK categories. The pipeline complies with requirements laid down by the Association of Mechanical Engineers.
