Phase stability in periodic motion of an electron-ion ring
Description
A problem of periodic motion of an electron ring in a heterogeneous magnet field has been considered. In one of the acceleration regions there are ions in the ring. The energy transferred to ions, is compensated during ring passage through resonator. Synchronous phase stability area as well as ion number and resonator field amplitude fluctuation tolerances have been determined
