Comparative evaluation of routine radiological, vascular and computer tomographic investigations in the diagnosis of tumours and tumour like lesions of the extremities

The results of routine radiological, vascular and computer tomographic investigations in 11 patients with tumours and tumour-like lesions of the extremities are compared. Routine radiological investigations gave doubtful or negative results in 4 cases. In 3 cases the result of angiography was in disagreement with histological examination. Computer tomography made possible establishing of correct diagnosis in 10 cases, and in 2 of them additional information was obtained about the tumour. (author)
