Aspects of licensing and control the use of other accelerators and irradiators: EBM for crosslinking chitosan, Seaweed Gel, Latex, Sterilization Irradiators, and cyclotron for F18 PET has been discussed. From the regulatory point of view, one of the purposes of BAPETEN (Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency) is to ensure the safety and health of workers, public, and environmental protection in the use of nuclear energy. Requirements and licensing procedures established in accordance with the risks associated with radiation safety and security of Radioactive Sources and Nuclear Materials, so the higher the risk of a use, then the licensing requirements imposed increasingly stringent. Licensing requirements consist of administrative, technical and special requirements. Licensing the use of irradiators category I do not need the special requirements for the lowest risk and 1 (one) stage licensing. While irradiators category II through IV, and F18 PET cyclotron require special requirements and more than one stages licensing. (author)
