Description

Some typical activities concerning reliability studies of NDE methods and studies of fracture mechanics are introduced. Eight examples of large-scale verification tests in Japan are tabulated. A proving test for in-service inspection is discussed. Manual ultrasonic testing is also discussed. Some recent studies on structural integrity of reactor primary components and material are described. (U.K.)
