Study of the survival of E. coli k12 in the light of a new theory on the evolution of molecular systems exposed to radiation
Description
Certain properties of the evolution of a species contained in an irradiated system have been predicted in a theoretical study based on new foundations. These properties concern: - the shape of survival curves according to the method used to measure experimental points, - the end-of-irradiation transient and its relationship with irradiation duration, - survival curves after fractionated irradiation. These properties were verified on the E. coli K12 system in a buffer medium, irradiated with ultraviolet light at 2537 A

Certaines proprietes de l'evolution d'une espece contenue dans un systeme irradie ont ete prevues dans une etude theorique reposant sur des bases nouvelles. Ces proprietes concernent: - la forme des courbes de survie suivant la methode de mesure des points experimentaux, - le transitoire de fin d'irradiation et sa relation avec la duree d'irradiation, - les courbes de survie apres irradiation fractionnee. Ces proprietes ont ete verifiees sur le systeme E. Coli K12 en milieu tampon, irradie en ultraviolet a 2537 A. (auteur)Files
