Control of plasma position on the Castor tokamak
Creators
Description
A simple servo-system used at the Castor tokamak for the control of radial plasma position is described. This feedback system is capable of maintaining the plasma ring in a prescribed position with an accuracy of 3 mm. The performance of the system is demonstrated by comparing the parameters of tokamak discharges with and without the feedback control. (J.U.). 2 figs
