On Bremsstrahlung from muons scattered by atomic electrons

Description
Ultrarelativistic muon Bremsstrahlung accompanied by the atom excitation and (or) knock-on electron production is considered. The process is described by two different types of diagrams, corresponding to emission of the photon by muon or electron. For the first type of diagrams, the cross section with atomic binding correction is calculated, and a simple approximate formula is given. 15 refs., 7 figs
