Paramagnetic ion clusters of sodium in irradiated NaA, NaX and NaY zeolites

Description
After γ-irradiation at 77 K of dehydrated zeolites NaA, NaX and NaY ESR spectra were observed which alongside with lines of radiation hole defects contained signals with multicomponent superfine structure consisting of 7 (NaA) or 13 (NaX and NaY) lines. The signals observed were reffered to paramagnetic ion clusters of sodium Na2+ (NaA) and Na43+ (NaX and NaY) which are formed during free electron capture by groups of several sodium ions
