Use of risk conception in NPP safety regulations

Description
Available approaches to NPP safety regulations are considered on the basis of risk conception. The suggested criteria for permissible risk conception enabling to determine the tolerance of one or another kind of human activity are presented. Concepts of basic values of risk and optimal risk enabling to ground the advisability of safety measures under conditions of limited investments are described
