Description

Laser plasma radiation spectra have been measured in the wavelength ranges of 6-7 and 7.5-8.5 A for flat targets made of elements with the nuclear charge Zn=6-83 at the laser radiation flux density of (1-4)x1013 W/cm2. The experimentally measured intensity of K,L,M spectra (∼1015-1016 quanta/4π) is compared with the results of calculations of the laser radiation conversion into the laser plasma X-ray radiation. The results obtained make it possible to optimize the laser-plasma source of the soft X-ray radiation, particularly, for back-lighting of a high-temperature dense plasma
