Measurements of millimeter-range cyclotron radiation induced by a high-current electron beam

Description
A method is discussed for producing high-current relativistic electron beams moving parallel to the magnetic field lines along helical trajectories. Microwave power approx.25 MW at wavelength 7.5 mm was achieved in a gyrotron using such beams
