Description
An approximation to three-dimensional (3-D) TDHF calculations for heavy-ion reations which neglects motion normal to the scattering plane is discussed. Quantitative comparisons with 3-D results indicate the accuracy of this method and an order-of-magnitude reduction in computation time. (Auth.)
