Research and application of pneumatic feeding control system in the pilot plant
Description
According to requirements of pneumatic feeding control system in the pilot plant, a bench test device was built to research and develop automatic control system. The key parameters of pneumatic sample feeding system such as the pressure of compressed air, the selection of photoelectric sensor, and eliminating method of the impact force between the rabbit and the transceiver were determined through experiments. Pneumatic feeding system designed according to the experimental results was applied in the pilot plant, and experienced various stages of commissioning, the results showed that the control system can ensure the radioactive sample delivery safely, reliably, effectively and steadily. This accomplishment can also provide technical support for designing sample feeding system of the large scale commercial spent fuel reprocessing plant in future. (authors)
