Superconductivity, transport properties and electronic structure of electron-doped cuprates Ln2-xCexCuO4-σ and Nd2CuO4-yFy

Description
The structure of sintered Ln2-xCexCuO4-σ (Ln=Nd, Pr, Ce) and Nd2CuO4-yFy bulk samples was investigated by X-ray and neutron diffraction. Superconducting Nd2-xCexCuO4-σ films on single-crystalline SrTiO3 were prepared by ion beam and laser ablation. Phase diagrams for different Ln and X, critical field Hc1 and Hc2, paramagnetic moments in the normal state, the negative Hall coefficient and irreversible behaviour of granular samples in magnetic fields are discussed
