Neutron scintillation detector for the time-of-flight spectrometry
Description
The neutron scintillation detector is described. It is intended for the neutron time-of-flight spectrometry. The detector efficiency depends weakly on the neutron energy and equals 1-2% for the 1 MeV-1 keV neutrons. The neutron lifetime in the detector is approximately equal to 6 μs. The solid angle equals 3.2π sr in the case of scattered neutron detection
