Preparation of superconducting Tl-Ba-Ca-Cu-O thin films by Tl2O3 vapor processing
Description
This patent describes a method for making thin-film Tl-Ca-Ba-Cu-O superconductors. It comprises mixing and heating BaCO3, CaO, and CuO to obtain a Ca-Ba-Cu-O powder; forming a Ca-Ba-Cu-O thin film from the Ca-Ba-Cu-O powder by physical or chemical deposition; and heating the film in oxygen with a quantity of Tl2O3 in oxygen to create a Tl2O3 vapor processed film
