Calculation of neutron-induced reaction cross sections of 27Al, 50Co and 93Nb
Description
Neutron induced reaction cross sections of 27Al, 59Co and 93Nb are evaluated in the energy range of 1 to 20 MeV. Evaluated quantities are (n, 2n), (n, 3n), (n, p), (n, α), (n,d), (n,t), and (n, 3He) reaction cross-sections. The computations are based on evaporation model considering the pre-equilibrium emission mechanism under some approximations. Computer codes SC2N3N, NX-1 and NX-2 have been used for the computations. The excitation functions were also computed using the computer ALICE LIVERMORE-85 code. The excitation functions of 27Al, 59Co and 93Nb are shown in figures along with the available recent experimental data and results are in fairly good agreement. (author). 42 refs., 13 figs., 2 tabs
