To the problem on autowave mechanism of decay phenomena of metastable heat transfer regimes in boiling processes

Mechanism of nucleate boiling on fuel element surface, following metastable convective heat transfer regime, is studied on platinum wires in toluene medium. Problems of existence, width and position of metastable regime domain boundaries, dependence of ultimate heat load during metastability spontaneous decay on the element supply regime, the effect of fluid subcooling degree on position of metastability region are studied
