Projection operator treatment of single-particle resonances
Creators

Description
A projection operator method is used to obtain the energy and width of a single-particle resonance. The resonance energy is found without scanning. An example of the first g9/2 neutron resonance in 40Ca is given and compared with the traditional phase shift method. The results of both approaches are quite similar
