Crystal structures of R2CoGa8 compounds (R=Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Lu, Y) and RCoGa5 compounds (R=Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Lu, Y)

Description
The crystal structure of Ho2CoGa8 and HoCoGa5 compounds - the representatives of new structural types are determined. Both structures are tetragonal (a=4.217+-0.005; c=10.97+-0.02A; Z=11 for Ho2CoGa8; a=4.207+-0.005; c=6.795+-0.009A; Z=7 for HoCoGa5; P4 mmm space group. Atom parameters are specified by the least square method up to R=0.139 for 122 reflections of Okl,1kl, 2kl (Ho2CoGa8) type and R=0.132 for 83 reflections of Okl, 1kl, 2kl(Ho2CoGa5). Coordination atomic numbers are for Ho - 12, Ga - 11, 12; Co - 8. Structures are described as hybride, the constituted from the fragments of AuCu3 and PtHg2 structural types
