Ion-beam-excited electrostatic ion cyclotron waves

Description

Self-excited electrostatic ion cyclotron waves were observed in an ion-beam-plasma system produced in a DP-operated Q-machine. The frequency of the waves showed the theoretically predicted variation with the magnetic field. (Auth.)
