Changes in electron spectra of porphyrin systems after exposure to pulsed electron beam

Description
The data are presented concerning the influence of pulsed electron beam on the electron absorption spectra of porphirine-containing compounds, particularly hemium and myoglobin. Both reversible and irreversible changes occur in spectral parameters. Possible molecular mechanisms of such changes are discussed
