Description

This article deals with the study of the parameters characterizing the slope of the electric field transport current characteristics of NbTi superconductors in their low electric field part. The low E part of the E-I characteristic, arising from flux vortices motion due to the Lorentz force, is the basic data from which the current carrying capacity of the given composite conductor can be estimated. In this range of E (some μV/cm), no current sharing occurs and influence of heating is negligible
