Pannonic ozone project. Partial project: emission. Final report
Description
Within the framework of establishing an ozone model for the Pannonian Area, an emission inventory for NOx, NMVOC and CO was developed, which features high spatial resolution in the area concerned, but gives results also for the rest of Europe. The area concerned covers the countries Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria, where a common grid of 5x5 km resolution is applied. Emissions also can be calculated for every hour, speciation of NMVOC is also provided. Base year of the inventory, which is strongly based on the CORINAIR inventory by the European Environment Agency, is 1990. An update of the inventory allows its use also for present time (1995) situations. The temporal charts of the emission densities prove the large variabilities of emissions in space and time. (author)
