Calculation of the influence of aqueous environments on cyclic crack extension resistance in steels at 300 degree C
Description
The influence of reactor water of boron regulation on fatigue crack propagation rate in 15X2HMFA and 08X18H10T steels at 300 degree C has been investigated. Corrosion-fatigue cracking has been found characteristic for 15X2HMFA steel. The kinetics of newly-formed steel surfaces in high-temperature reactor water has been also studied. The phenomenological mathematical model of high-temperature water environment influence on fatigue crack growth rates in steels has been constructed on the basis of corrosive-mechanical and electro-chemical data. The experimental results well agree with model-based calculated ones
