Building technology platform for fluid system design division
Description
Fluid system design division was one of the functional groups in the Advanced Reactor Development Institute. In 2010 and 2011, in addition to the SMART and power reactor development projects, two research reactor construction projects are kicked off sequentially; the Jordan Research and Training Reactor and KIJANG research reactor construction project. Because of these sudden expansions of the institute work, KAERI recruited many junior engineers. As a result, more than 50% of the division members were juniors having experience less than 2 years in the nuclear field. And the staffs were divided in ages and experience with only a few engineers in the middle. Thus training the staffs was urgent need. This project intends to upgrade the capability of the division and staffs through many seminars, expert consulting, and attending outside training programs. Most important output of this research is posted in the "seminar and event board" of the KAERI Bullitin Board System to share the material with all KAERI staffs.
