Simulation analysis of the chemical and volume control system of small modular reactor

Description
A simulation analysis is carried out in this paper for the chemical and volume control system (RCV) of the small modular reactor by using Flowmaster software. System components' physical models are established (including the charging pumps, purification pumps, heat exchangers, boric acid storage reservoir, filters, iron exchangers, orifices and valves, etc.). Then, both steady and transient characteristics of the flow rate, pressure, temperature, flow loss, etc. of each loop and each node of RCV system under different operating conditions are analyzed, which can provide theoretic base for the system design and analysis.
