Shape effect on radiation-induced deformation in crystals

Description

Diffusion-dislocation mechanism in solid body was considered. It was established that any shape of a sample appeared to be unstable with respect to radiation-induced deformation (in the absence of swelling). This effect may be amplified or suppressed by formation of anisotropic distribution of edge dislocations in crystal according to orientation of their axes
