Description
Tests are described which enable conclusions to be drawn about the behaviour of various materials compared to stress corrosion cracking under certain electrochemical conditions, from the re-passivation behaviour after mechanical destruction of the passive layer. The described test assembly allows one to free the active material section of a sample in an electrolyte, to determine the re-passivation during testing, i.e. prior to activation, during it and after it. Abstract (German)
Es werden Versuche beschrieben, die aus dem Repassivierungsverhalten nach mechanischer Verletzung der Passivschicht Rueckschluesse auf das Verhalten unterschiedlicher Werkstoffe gegenueber Spannungsrisskorrosion unter bestimmten elektrochemischen Bedingungen zulassen. Der beschriebene Versuchsaufbau ermoeglicht die Freilegung aktiver Werkstoffbereiche einer Probe in einem Elektrolyten, die Bestimmung der Repassivierungsgeschwindigkeit und die Untersuchung des Potential-Zeit-Verhaltens waehrend des Versuches, also vor Aktivierung, waehrend derselben und im Anschluss daran.
