Nanocomposites with the layered structure of V2O5·nH2O xerogel

Description
New layered nanocomposites of V2O5·nH2O xerogel with polyvinyl alcohol, pyrocatechin and hydroquinone of (C2H3)4.90·nH2O, (C6H4)xV2O4.60·nH2O and (C6H4)0.17V2O4.94·nH2O with interlayer distance d001=11.73, 12.85 and 15.28±0.05 A correspondingly. Using IR and Raman spectroscopy structural changes of V-O layers of xerogel during composites formation are analyzed. It is shown that layers contain V4+ and V5+ ions binding energy of which is lower then in V2O5·nH2O. Electric conductivity of films and thermal properties of nanocomposite powders are studied
Abstract (Russian)
Синтезированы новые слоистые нанокомпозиты ксерогеля V2O5·nH2O с поливиниловым спиртом, пирокатехином и гидрохиноном состава C2H3)4.90·nH2O, (C6H4)xV2O4.60·nH2O и (C6H4)0.17V2O4.94·nH2O с межслоевым расстоянием d001=11.73, 12.85 и 15.28±0.05 A соответственно. С помощью ИК- и КР-спектроскопии проанализированы структурные изменения V-O-слоев ксерогеля при образовании композитов. По данным рентгеноэлектронной спектроскопии, они содержат ионы V4+ и V5+, энергия связи которых меньше, чем в V2O5·nH2O.
