Hadron Structure and the Drell-Yan Process

Creators

  • 1. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, IL 61801 (United States)

Description

Dimuon production has been studied in a series of fixed-target experiments at Fermilab during the last two decades. Highlights from these experiments are presented. Some future prospects for studying the parton distributions in the nucleons and nuclei using Drell-Yan production are also discussed.
