Circuit design of measurement of time distribution for fast correlating events
- 1. China Inst. of Atomic Energy, BJ (China)
Description
The special circuit and its working procedure for measurement of time distribution of neutron bursts in the thermal cycle of metal (Ti)-absorbed in pressurized deuterium gas are described. Once master trigger event appears, the time distribution and amount of correlating events (neutron burst) can be recorded in the double ports memory buffer in 128 μs period. The random data of uncorrelating events can be recorded regularly also. The resolution ability of time distribution is ≥0.5 μs, counting rate of events up to 2 x 106 s-1
