Economic aspects of the application of accelerators in power systems with subcritical reactors
Description
The financial cost of operation of high-power heavy-current accelerator systems is discussed. The price of electricity generated in an accelerator-controlled power plant is compared with that of other power sources. The economic benefits of the electronuclear method consist in low fuel costs and reduction of nuclear waste disposal costs. (author)
