Computer simulation of radiation defects and processes in crystals
Description
The experimental study of the effects of radiation on alloys is difficult but may be simulated using a computer. The calculation is described of trajectories of displaced atoms in crystals, the configuration of simple defects (vacances, interstitials), their behaviour in the crystal and the basic processes of radiation damage to crystals.
