Monopole creation operator in presence of matter

Description

The monopole creation operator proposed recently by Froehlich and Marchetti is investigated in the Abelian Higgs model with the compact gauge field. It is shown numerically that the creation operator detects the condensation of monopoles in the presence of the dynamical field
