Soil characterization at demo candidate site of SP4 disposal area at Serpong Nuclear Area

Description

Research has been conducted about SP4 soil characterization at Serpong Nuclear Area, by drilling in 5 appointed sites. The drilling results in a wide variety of soil such as clay siltstone at approximate depth of 0-15 meters, while clay siltstone and sand siltstone dominate the soil's depth of 15-20 meters at intervals. As alternative target plan, siltstone, which possesses high rate of heterogeneity, will be used for NSD construction. This variety of soil is present at intervals with sandstone and limestone, in which locally contains limestone module. (author)
