Description
An N-16 loop was installed at the Neuherberg Research Reactor for the test of gamma detectors which shall be used for leakage measurements in nuclear power stations. After evaluating the N-16 source strength in terms of the reactor power, the sensitivities of various detectors were determined taking into account the influences of geometry and shielding. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Am Forschungsreaktor Neuherberg wurde ein N-16-Loop installiert, um verschiedene gammaempfindliche Detektoren zu testen, die spaeter zu Leckagemessungen in Kuehlkreislaeufen von Kernkraftwerken zum Einsatz gelangen sollen. Nach Ermittlung der N-16-Quellstaerke in Abhaengigkeit von der Reaktorleistung erfolgte die Bestimmung der Nachweisempfindlichkeiten der einzelnen Detektorarten unter besonderer Beruecksichtigung von Geometrie- und Abschirmungseinfluessen.
