New data on the geochronology of the Precambrians of Bhandara-Drug, Central India

Description
The results of Rb-Sr dating of twentyfive whole-rock samples (ten samples from Amgaon Gneiss, six samples of Bijli rhyolite, nine samples of Dongargarh granite and some of their mineral separates) by Rb-Sr isochron method at the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad are discussed and compared with the recalculated earlier K-Ar age data; the relevant geological and geochronological interpretations are presented and a chronostratigraphic succession established.
