Further development of the evaluation bases for safety-relevant active components

In this project, a system for the acquisition, structuring and categorization of information on active components available at GRS was developed using the component type "valves" as an example and implemented and tested in an information technology solution. This system allows to code documents with component information from different GRS knowledge bases in a uniform way. With a newly developed, comprehensive search system, specific search queries for component information can be directed to the individual knowledge bases simultaneously. The search results are presented in a common output. This type of search was previously not possible or only possible to a limited extent within the existing knowledge bases. Thus, the coding and search system makes an important contribution to answering technical questions by GRS, e.g. within the scope of the transferability check of reportable events.
