Porous Coatings Deposited from Acetylene in a 3 Inch Diameter Fluidised Bed
Description
This paper presents some experimental results on the influence of process variables such as concentration, flow rate, reference temperature, on the characteristics of deposits derived from acetylene. A comparison with the results obtained from propylene is also given as well as the determination of the open porosity. A qualitative rather than semi-qualitative method is proposed to determine the approximate density of the porous deposit in a fully coated particle. (author)
